Welcome to the Urban Trailblazer Summer 2025 Application! We are excited for Summer 2025 and are looking forward to all the amazing adventure and fun we are going to have.

To be eligible you must:

Be currently enrolled in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade
Attend a public middle school in San Francisco Unified School District, Sausalito Marin City School District, or San Rafael City Schools
Be committed to attending daily sessions in person
Attend and complete the 7 week Summer Session: Tuesday - Friday, 9:30am - 3:00pm

Summer Session: June 17th - August 1st
Mandatory Parent & Student Orientation: Saturday, May 17th, 2025, Time TBD

Hello Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to share information about the Summer Urban Trailblazer Program, a transformative opportunity designed specifically for middle school students in our community!

This summer, the program will run for 6 weeks, offering a mix of fun, learning, and personal growth through outdoor adventures and team-building activities. Please note that there will be no program from July 1st to July 4th.

Program Highlights:

2 Mandatory Overnight Trips: Held at the beautiful Rob Hill Campsite, where students will engage in hands-on learning and outdoor activities.
4-Day Camping Trip: An unforgettable experience at a National or State Park, offering exploration, adventure, and a deeper connection with nature.

We’re excited to share the details for this year’s Summer Urban Trailblazer Program! Below is the schedule of key dates and activities:

May 17th: Mandatory Parent & Student Orientation
June 17th - August 1st: Program sessions meet Tuesday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM
June 26th - 27th: Overnight Camping Trip to Rob Hill Campsite in SF Presidio
July 22nd - 25th: 4-Day Camping Trip (destination TBD)
August 1st: Blaze Out Celebration (Late start and dismissal time will be provided closer to the date)
