LINC 2025 Summer Application

You must be enrolled in a high school from the following counties to be eligible for LINC:
  • Marin
  • San Francisco
  • San Mateo
  • Contra Costa
  • Solano
  • Alameda
When applying please only apply based on where you live.
LINC North: Marin County, Solano County, and Contra Costa County LINC South: San Francisco County, Alameda County, and San Mateo County

This application includes:
  • Short answer questions (Please answer in complete sentences) 
  • One reference (i.e. coach, teacher, counselor, mentor, etc.)
Once you start this application, you must finish or start all over again. You may want to write out your responses to the short questions in a word / google document ahead of time and paste it into this application. HOW THE PROGRAM IS ORGANIZED: 

This is a six-week program that brings youth from across the Bay Area together for a variety of outdoor experiences themed around service, youth agency, recreation, community building, and professional development.

The program supports 24 youth split into two cohorts - One that is based in Marin County (LINC North) and another team based in San Francisco (LINC South). 

Upon successful completion of the program, all participants receive up to a $2,400 education award. Participants must be able to fill out a W9 with a Tax Identification Number to receive the stipend. What are the dates of the program? 
This program meets Tuesdays –Fridays. This year the program will start on June 17th and end on August 1st.  

Key Dates & Interview Info:  
  • Application due date: Tuesday March 18th
  • LINC North Interviews will be on Saturday April 5th
  • LINC South interviews will be on Saturday April 12th
  • Family & Student Orientation: Saturday May 17th
  • Program Starts: Tuesday June 17th
  • Program Week Break: Tuesday June 30th - Friday July 4th
  • Program Ends - August 1st
*Please keep these dates in mind, you are required to attend all the above dates in order to participate in the program. You may be released from the program if you miss too many days!*

Is transportation provided? 
Yes, we are able to provide transportation for youth who need it. We will have a designated pick up location for each Cohort. For LINC North, there will be a pick up location in San Rafael. For LINC South, there will be a pick up location in San Francisco.
